Jenna Gaylord

Video Journalist

About Me

I am a senior at Lake Orion High School with a passion for journalism and videography. I am a part of the Television Production Workshop class which produces a live newscast 4 days a week called LO-AM. This is my second year in this advanced capstone class. I have the opportunity to do everything from conducting interviews to editing stories, or directing a show to performing as on-air talent.  Lake Orion's broadcast program has won numerous Spartan Awards and was inducted into the MIPA Hall of Fame last year. I have been fortunate to gain all of this real life journalism experience from a high school class, and I hope to use this knowledge in the fall when I will be attending Florida State University.
